Position Summary:
The Senior Project Manager is ultimately responsible for excellent delivery on their assigned piece of business. Senior Project Managers partner with others in the agency to ensure that we have found just the right balance in client and agency economics. Part of the job is a deep understanding and respect for the agency process, coupled with the ability to be nimble and flexible. All of this is done with guidance and mentorship to help you grow in your career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Account and extended team to develop SOWs, tactical and staffing plans, both for internal planning purposes and client approval.
- Manage the development and production of print and digital marketing efforts for their assigned brands, (websites, banners, applications, brochures, mailers, banner ads, print ads, video)
- Partner closely with Account and Client Services teams during the project planning, execution and production phases. Ensuring client objectives/guidelines are defined and deliverables and client feedback are shared/incorporated in a timely manner.
- Develops and leads client presentations for their respective brands, related to budgets, timelines and scope.
- Demonstrates significant knowledge of marketing, contributes to client brainstorms, brand strategy and tactical plan
- Interface with key agency teams to ensure they’re on track to meet the agreed upon milestones (Account, Creative, Studio, Editorial, Print Production, Strategic Planning, Information UX, Technology, Programmers)
- Provide necessary direction and support to the team on the tasks and deliverables required.
- Responsible for leading the following meetings: hot sheet, weekly status, project briefings, internal creative reviews, meetings with external vendors.
- Review content and route deliverables to the appropriate core team members for review/sign off via electronic project routing system. Ensure signoff prior to key junctures, (brand team review, Leadership review, disk release, asset handoff to vendor, etc.)
- Enforce agency process and manage the quality assurance (QA) phase for all projects.
- Represent the Agency and Project Management department at Client meetings, Agency days, etc.
- Work on and lead new business pitches as necessary
- Develop comprehensive project plans and seeing projects success through from kickoff to completion
- Proactively identify resourcing needs and potential risks to projects health while being able to identify solutions
- Comfortable leading and guiding a team through the creation of all phases of a projects timeline; managing internal meetings to review status of projects and delegating clear roles and responsibilities
- Display comprehensive organizational skills and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Champion and drive project management applications (i.e., Asana, workbooks, etc), while also being able to troubleshoot process inefficiencies and evolve and define new processes as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Project Manager or similar position responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, profitability, and effective delivery of digital and physical marketing projects
- Strong grasp of current web technologies as well as related business issues
- PMI or PMP certification or similar
- Deep experience in multiple software development lifecycles, including waterfall and agile
- Excellent project management skills including prioritization, scheduling, and documentation
- Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external groups
- Proficient in Productive, GSheets, and Keynote to help in the documentation and facilitation of tasks
- High energy, enthusiastic and able to succeed in a dynamic work environment
- Solid technical understanding and ability to define and refine requirements through a project lifecycle
- Obsessed with process; willing to develop and apply new processes in support of further driving efficiencies

You bring:
- 6+ years of Project Management (including Digital), Pharma Agency experience (preferred)
- Proficient in using Productive, or other project management software to develop project plans
- Master of communication and attention to detail
- Highly knowledgeable of creative planning and process
- Ability to manage down and provide thoughtful mentorship to more junior team members
- You are a subject matter expert and believe in being the champion for both your agency and your client’s brand
- Occasional Travel Required
