JOB OVERVIEW

At Recess, a Senior Account Supervisor is the key to building lasting relationships with our partners. We are the front line in delivering on our promise of unparalleled quality. The Senior Account Supervisor serves as a champion for our process and pioneer of proactive problem solving. Senior Account Supervisors should intimately know our partners' businesses and constantly ensure we are meeting and exceeding our partners' expectations. This position successfully serves as the single most point of authority on any given account.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify new business opportunities and work with the Business Director / CEO to pursue opportunities in alignment with each partnership’s halo
  • Set up goals and objectives for all subordinate staff
  • Provide feedback and counsel to account staff to meet quotas/objectives
  • Conduct performance evaluation using key metrics
  • Understand fundamental partner business needs and goals
  • Advocate for Recess’ services as means to expand partnerships
  • Ensure the timely delivery of services to partners
  • Resolve issues to maintain and strengthen partner trust
  • Create detailed partnership business plans, with quarterly benchmarks and growth targets
  • Identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell
  • Provide partnership support when needed
  • Serve as a champion for Recess’ service proposition, seeking opportunities to upsell services
  • Respond to complaints and manage issues to ensure partner success and satisfaction
  • Proactively identify opportunities to align work and partnership growth to partner KPIs and priorities
  • Create reports of subordinates and communicate overall quarterly/annual progress to senior management and external stakeholders
  • Ensure our partner is kept apprised of all account activity
  • Present complex data or messages in clear, succinct, compelling manner to partners
  • Lead in ensuring timely, accurate partner documentation & correspondence
  • Manage existing relationships with clients through a consultative process involving on-site meetings and presentations with client and agency decision-makers
  • Foster new relationships with clients in adjacent industries or project types
  • Build a thorough understanding of client business objectives and challenges in order to identify ways in which advertising products and services can provide value
  • Develop and deliver winning programs and proposals that lead to lasting and commercially successful partnerships with a focus on creative, solution-oriented ideas
  • Support business growth by growing existing client relationships and expanding existing projects
  • Lead client status calls for open projects, establishing call agendas in partnership with project management team
  • Infer strategic insights based on client needs and project performance
  • Serve as a representative of the Recess brand in a positive, informed, and enthusiastic manner
  • Identify potential risks in projects and client relationships, developing strategies to proactively mitigate these risks
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to clients, showcasing the impact of agency work on their business objectives
  • Monitor and oversee project budgets, ensuring profitability and adherence to financial targets
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly revenue performance reports to senior management
  • Prepare weekly and monthly forecast reports and present to senior management and accounting department
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure favorable terms for the agency
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, strategy, and production, to ensure client needs are met and projects are delivered on time and within scope

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Senior Account Supervisor or similar position
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or advertising, or relevant field
  • 7+ years experience
  • Demonstrable experience and expertise in budget negotiations
  • Understanding of business fundamentals
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and metrics
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and Keynote
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with aptitude in fostering long-term relationships
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
