JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic New Business Manager to spearhead sales and client onboarding. This role is responsible for uncovering, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities, expanding our client roster, and managing the onboarding process. The ideal candidate will bring a robust business development expertise, deep industry insight, and exceptional relationship-building acumen.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute strategies to attract and secure new clients.
  • Collaborate with the account and strategy teams to craft briefs and oversee new client onboarding.
  • Create backgrounders on client objectives, market opportunities, and insights.
  • Direct and support the team to meet business and project goals.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and client needs.
  • Provide weekly and monthly progress summaries to leadership.
  • Manage and report on growth and marketing budgets, and maintain progress tracker for new business activities.
  • Lead RFP and pitch process, ensuring timely execution and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Partner with leadership to manage travel and pitch details.
  • Establish and maintain RFP and pitch goals on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven success in new business development within the branding and design industry.
  • Strong grasp of brand strategy, digital work principles, and marketing trends.
  • Exceptional presentation and client relationship skills.
  • Proficient with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented.
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree; graduate degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in new business roles with creative agencies.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience in digital marketing.
